I'm truly thrilled you like this piece because I really wanted to inject new life (sorry about the irony) into Vampi. As you'll see in the thread I got a bit of strife from Joe Jusko because he felt I had broken the rules - rules which make her what she is. In all honesty, while I agree with the principal I certainly don't agree totally, after all, how else do we keep these characters alive??
Being compared to those great artists is a real honor sir and I think you immensely. Adam is a good friend of mine and I LOVE his work so to be compared to him is the cherry on the top.

Honestly, I agree more with your comments. I understand Mr. Jusko's, but while Vampi's hair is very distinctive, it is also limited in how she looks and you did add a certain amount of flair that is lacking from her books right now.
