I likes. Sometimes the drawing is more interesting than the finished piece because the "gameplan" appears like a ghost from a toned background. I do architectural drawings and they look a lot like this.

Unorthodox Raats approach to composition - full frontal and centered - yet nicely distinguished by innovative linework and cryptic symbolism as always. A solid drawing that screams - ripe for a future painting.

Sorry I couldn't get to this sooner, just recovered from a bummer of pneumonia.

Cheers mate - sorry to hear you have been struggling with the lurgy. I hope you are getting strong again!

Hopefully this piece will be decent. I'm trying to inject a lot more abstract in amongst the literal (as I started with the Zhora piece). A part of me wants to take this style of artwork into a different place because I'm bored to death with the same old approach taken by nearly everyone when tackling projects of this type....

Obviously some pieces will need to follow the usual conservative approach (depending on the client) but if I'm given the opportunity I want to try and get a little 'creative'... :D
