Great composition of some memorable moments. I like how you have the struggle for the bag of stones right there in the lower center of the piece. It creates great drama.

Cheers mate.. Yeah, the fight over the bag was very important and it was quite a struggle to get it to work in with the rest of the composition but I'm very glad I persisted...

Thanks again. Here's hoping the end result is half decent!

I'm sure every attempt would still eclipse most other artist ... me mainly : )

On a different note, thought you might appreciate this >> www.candykiller.com/extras/brp…
It's by a wonderful Scottish artist by the name of Brian Taylor (aka CandyKiller) with whom I converse every now & then. He's a big Blade Runner Fan.

Cheers, Mark. Take care.

Awesome man, I love the shot of the two of them pulling on the bag on the center. Great design!

Thanks very much Jeff, I'm glad you like it.

The two guys as the centre piece was always the plan but I have to be honest, it was a massive struggle to keep them and to make them work!

You captured all the elements of the film, but mercifully, I can't see any insects.  I swear this film made me get a phobia towards most insects.  I can't even watch that scene anymore- I have to look away!  I particularly like your interpretation of Indy's struggle with Mola Ram and him emerging triumphant at the bottom of the piece.  I really liked the character Willie in the film- she was hilarious and you captured her pretty good.

Thanks Clare, I'm glad you like it.

I always wanted to use the two fighting in the composition but it proved to be quite a challenge to keep them in and for everything to still make sense..

Fortunately, I think the end result worked out well enough and here's hoping I don't screw up the painting..

Hatch master strikes again! I like how my eye is drawn to the bag fight in the middle there. I like the composition of it with the direction of the characters stares, feels like a lot of drama topped off with charisma and charm at the bottom there. It's fun to look at.

I also like your comps! I think the pencil lines are very true to Struzan's style and create wonderful movement and flow in the piece. I also love the other effects you get in your painted work, however.

Thanks buddy...

I spent a little more time on this one because I wanted to make sure I got the overall color flow to match the Raiders poster..

We'll see if I'm full of shit when I get the painting done through!
