Disney Indy by MarkRaats Disney Indy by MarkRaats
With the announcement that Disney has cleaned up the Paramount side of the Indiana Jones franchise, I suspect that we will be treated to more adventures featuring the cavalier archeologist.

I have no idea how they intend to preserve the integrity of the character - since Harrison is now in his 70's - but would I mind?

it's so epic.... just couldn't find a better word to describe this awesome piece of art! LOVE IT!
Cheers Gegi.. I hope that Disney does a good job with bringing Indy back again!

I think Indy should be the American James Bond. Let someone else take the role... The last movie was terrible! Time fir some fresh blood in the role and Harrison Ford has run his course...
I din't have a problem with the idea of an older Indy but I agree that there is place for a kind of "James Bond" mindset with this franchise.

Cheers for your comment mate.
Remove the Disney in this image and you may have another print to sell, it looks pretty cool.
LOL... yes but Disney is the reason this is going ahead!!

All the best for a terrific 2014 mate..
Hopefully they will leave Ancient Aliens to the oddballs who populate the show on the History Channel [don't get me wrong; I love that fucking show] and try something a little closer to the original concept[s].  But, then, this is Disney, so I really don't have a good feeling about it.  Same with the Star Wars movie[s].  The good news is, no George Lucas and his wooden dialog.  The bad news - well, Disney.  What they did to John Carter of Mars was absolutely criminal and, no shit, I would have thrown some people in jail over it.  I guess that's why I don't have those kinds of powers.

On to the artwork.
What can I say, dude?  As always; EXCELLENT!
Thanks buddy and I couldn't agree with you more. George lost his way with the franchise but here's hoping that the new order puts together a decent follow-up.!

All the best mate.

Hmm, and elderly Harrison Ford. Maybe he could have memories, introducing some young fella?
This is lovely, Mark.

It is always a toss-up when a new actor steps into the role of such a dynamic, iconic, character. That said; I wonder whether or not Sean Patrick Flannery, who has both worked with Disney, and played the younger Indiana, might be considered.............. Ah, the joys of fan speculation.
